Hanna Andersson Best of Summer Sale Begins Today!

Hanna Andersson

I love Hanna Anderson clothing for my kids! I am particularly fond of their dresses and leggings for girls because they are incredibly cute and hold up better than most other brands.  I don’t know about you but I have a few girls that would live in dresses all of the time if I let them.

Since we have 5 girls clothing tends to get handed down a lot in our home. I really like to invest in Hanna Andersson clothing especially when I know it is something that will get passed down. I know they will still look nice after lots of wear.

Starting today you can Shop $16 Tees & Shorts, Plus $18 Dresses at Hanna’s Best of Summer Sale! Apr 23 – May 30. These are great prices for clothing that will last!

What Moms Love Weekly

This has been a full week for me! I had some sick kids and that always throws things off a bit.  I am grateful for the weekend though! This week I am loving: being okay with taking care of myself, encouraging new moms to give themselves grace, 3 year old giggles, cool breezes, playtime at the park and new sweet treats that this gluten-free girl can eat {smile}.  How about you? What are you loving this week?

Here are a few finds this week that get Mommy Kudos

1. Morgan & Milo Espadrilles- I mentioned Morgan & Milo shoes last week but then this week I saw these adorable espadrilles for little girls I thought they were too cute.  I really like the Morgan & Milo brand for both boys and girls because, aside from having some of the cutest kids shoes ever, these shoes really last.  They are very worth the investment in my opinion. My kids say they are super comfortable too. So cuteness, comfort and holding up through lots of little kid roughness gets my vote for great kid shoes.

2. Piggy Paint Nail Pens– My daughter and I tried these out this week and these nail pens are great! Piggy Paint makes polish that is “Natural as mud” without all of the harsh chemicals making them safer for little girls hands (especially when the little girls who are still putting their fingers in their mouths).  These nail pens are super easy to use and make painting little fingers and toes quick and easy.  Just use a blow dryer for a minute to dry them once you are done.  I found that Piggy Paint lasts longer than traditional nail polish too!

3. Next Direct Clothing–  I have to admit that I have a thing for European style kids clothing.  There are some great companies that have expanded to the USA that have really cute clothes (and great clothing for moms too).  I really like Next Direct.  They have great styles for babies, kids and adults! I love their boy styles and sweet girly dresses.  If you haven’t ever checked them out you should.  They’re prices are pretty good too.

Pretty Pushers: The Birthing Gown You’ll Be Happy to Put On

When you first arrive to the hospital to have a baby the first thing they do is tell you to change into a gown.  Whoever designed those hospital gowns must have had the goal of making them the most unattractive, unflattering, blandest form of clothing {if you can even call it that} ever.  As ugly as they are though, they serve a purpose.

I have given birth 6 times both in a hospital and a birth center. When I gave birth in a birthing center I honestly missed having a gown to put on.  After all, they have holes in all the right places and do make it easy to be poked, prodded and, well, give birth.

I Just recently came across Pretty Pushers.  No one was in the room but I actually found myself saying out loud “What a brilliant idea!”  I absolutely would have had one of these when I was pregnant to use in place of a hospital gown or the t-shirt I used at the birthing center.

These beautiful gowns {I feel weird using the word beautiful when describing a birthing gown} have a frontal opening to allow for fetal monitors, a low-cut back to allow for epidural access if necessary and adjustable tie closures.  You can wear it and then dispose of it.  Read about why they recommend disposing of the gown after giving birth here.
These gowns are 100% cotton and they even have an organic cotton version.  They start at $24 and go up to $44.  Check out Pretty Pushers to see all of the designs and to order.  Happy Pushing!

Backseat Driver is a boutique quality clothing and accessory line created by sisters, Kimberlee and Sarah, in Southern California. Their infant onesies and toddler tops are not only trendy and playful, but soft and comfortable and made in the USA. They saw there was a need for more hip, happening clothing for baby boys, so they set out to make it! I think they have done a fine job!
Along with their clothing Backseat Driver makes great 100% cotton, handmade bibs & burp cloths backed with chenille.  They were so kind as to send me one of the Happy Butterfly Bibs and it could not be cuter!  I love that the backside is chenille fabric! It adds absorbency and cuteness! I love that they pay attention to all of the details such as the wavy stitching pattern and the cute little Backseat Driver tag.  The colorful and unique fabrics make bib wearing more stylish and I think these would make super, unique gifts for baby showers and birthdays!
