Mommy Kudos Gift Guide: Day 10

Did you know there are only 40 more days until Christmas? It will be here before we know it! Here are the gift ideas for today:

Day 10

Moms
I cannot really think of anything moms like more than being on top of their to do lists and having a clean home (so they can spend more time with their precious kids). Getting floors clean can be such a time consuming task.  For this reason I have been eyeing the Mint floor cleaner for months now. Why?  Because it’s a robot…that cleans your floors for you!

Mint is a genius little robot that sweeps and mops your floors so that bare feet are always welcome in your home.  It is smart enough to know where it’s already been and where it still needs to clean.   Just put on a reusable microfiber or a disposable cleaning cloth, turn it on and watch it go to work while you instantly gain an extra hour or two.  Pretty amazing eh?!

The Mint 4200 retails for $199 and the new Mint Plus 5200 retails for $299.  The Mint Plus recharges faster and has a longer battery life as well as additional features.

Babies

When I was looking for a highchair for my last baby I was really wanting something sturdy that would last.  With 5 kids already I had been through 3 highchairs and I wasn’t crazy about any of them.  They were hard to clean, big and bulky, and unsightly.
When I came accross the Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair I knew it was the one for me.  It has amazing reviews everywhere and there are great reasons for that.  This chair is one that will last us for many years to come (It may seem crazy to think about now but I will have grandchildren one day).  It grows with your child and is super sturdy.  I LOVE that this chair pushes right up to the table so that your little one can sit with you.  There are attachments to add support for smaller babies too.
The Stokke Tripp Trapp Highchair by far, has been the easiest to clean.  It is fairly easy to adjust too.  I have not regretted this high chair purchase for a second and recommend it to my friends when they ask about a good highchair.  The Stokke chair is a gift that will keep giving for years to come.

Kids

This is such a great book for girls who are interested in art or fashion.  My girls have had so much fun with this!  Paper Fashions by Klutz has everything you need to design your own unique paper fashions. Plastic stencil shapes are included to make it simple to trace pants, purses, skirts, scarves, sweaters, shoes and more. You get to pick from many different double-sided, acid-free patterned papers for your designs. Add final touches to designs with sequins, ribbon and other decorative items. If that isn’t enough cuteness for you, then hang your outfits on the included tiny hangers and display them however you would like. Suggested ages are 8 and up.

Day 9

Moms

I live in Texas and Texans love their cowboy boots (well, most Texans anyway).  I have been a bit resistant to joint the masses of cowboy boot wearers in this state.  That was until I came across these super cute Stadium Stompers for women.  They are cowboy boots that are also rainboots and they coordinate with your favorite football team colors.  Wear them rain or shine and be in high fashion.  How great is that?!

Babies

I recently came across Kathe Kruse toys and dolls and cannot get over how adorable they are.  It is so hard to pick just one of them.
Kathe Kruse makes toys for babies and toddlers that are soft, colorful and child friendly.  They are made with only natural ingredients such as cotton and sheep wool.  Kathe Kruse Organics make toys that are nature-friendly and fun to play with.

Kids

Here’s a great book suggestion for the kids in your life: Bugs by the Numbers.  This book tells you all about bugs with numeric facts.  It is a clever and eye-catching way to learn about bugs. After seeing this book and reading it I have added it to my son’s gift list for Christmas. I am certain that he will get a big kick out of this book.

Disclosure: I have included some affiliate links in the above post.  If you should decide to purchase certain ones of these products Mommy Kudos gets a very small percentage of the sale.

Day 8

Moms

Oh my! Have you ever tried any of Pacifica’s products?  I was in love from the first moment I picked up the Tuscan Blood Orange soap box and smelled it.  It is amazing!  I couldn’t stop there. I had to smell them all.  They make so many wonderful scents but Tuscan Blood Orange and Tahitian Gardenia are my favorites. I love that the soap smells wonderful as you use it and the scent actually lingers afterwords.  Their body butters are also fantastic. They are thick and moisturizing and are great for layering the scent.

I haven’t been a perfume wearer in a while because it has been hard to find a natural one that actually smells great but Pacifica’s are all natural.  I really like carrying their solid perfumes in my purse and use the spray perfume at home.  They just came out with new roll-on perfumes that sounds great for at home or on the go.  Their products are made from natural ingredients and are free from Parabens, Sulfates, Propylene Glycol, Phthalates, GMOs, Triclosan and Petro-chemicals.

Any of Pacifica’s items make great gifts. They are sold at Whole Foods stores or you can order online at Pacifica’s website.  They have free shipping on orders over $50 and you can sign up for their newsletter for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate.

Babies

I love these cards and mobile from Wee Gallery.  They are adorable black and white designs on thick 5×7 cards that are perfect for babies developing vision.  There are many different designs and they can be turned into a mobile by attaching them to a Kikkerland mobile.  I used the mobile and Wee Gallery Jungle cards for my youngest daughter over her bed and she loved to look at them.  With older babies you can use the cards as flashcards to teach them the names of the animals. There are 9 different sets you can choose from.
Kids

Most little girls love to play dress up and pretend they are princesses.  Little Earth’s Beauty offers play makeup for ages 4-9 that you can feel good about your daughter using.  Their makeup is free of synthetic dyes and other harmful ingredients that so many little girls play makeup sets contain. All of the ingredients are disclosed here.

This set comes in a cute bag that looks like a little purse.  Inside you’ll find a mirror, lip gloss, pink glitter gel and silver glitter gel.  Everything goes on very nicely and a little bit goes a long way!  We especially liked the yummy watermelon scent of the lip gloss.

I just love this Birth Date Print Modern Nursery Art Poster
from Almost Sunday Designs Etsy Shop.   It is actually may be more of a gift for moms but it will be a beautiful addition to a nursery or wall of photos.  I love that you can choose your own custom colors to match your decor.

Check out these other great designs by Almost Sunday Designs as well.

Kids

LeapFrog sent us a LeapPad Explorer Learning Tablet a few weeks ago to try out and my kids have LOVED it!  There are so many ways to use it and it makes learning so much fun!

There are so many great games you can play on the LeapPad.  There are also lots of book titles to choose from and this device has a camera plus a video camera for lots more ways to have fun.

I have heard that they are a HOT item for Christmas a may sell out so if you are thinking about getting one for a special someone as a gift I recommend you do it soon.  It comes in green and pink too.

Day 6

Moms

Ann Voskamp’s book One Thousand Gifts: A Dare to Live Fully Right Where You Are is quite possibly the best book I have ever read.  As you read this book you will find yourself transported into Ann’s world as she describes her journey in beautiful detail.  Her story is one of great hope and entering into a life that embraces every moment as a gift.  This book will leave you deeply touched, and quite possibly, changed forever.  I cannot think of a better gift for the women in your life than this book.

Babies

Jellycat makes some of the most adorable stuffed animals ever!  I love these Cordy Roys stuffed animals. Besides being super cute they are soft and cuddly and great for ages 4 months and up.

Kids

Mouse Paint may possibly be my favorite little kids book.  My 4th daughter and I have read this together probably over 100 times.  She actually memorized it by the time she was 3 and would “read” it to me.  It is a really cute story about mice who are trying to avoid a cat and their adventure with colors and what the colors become when they are mixed with other colors.  It is educational and entertaining at the same time.  You can’t go wrong with this book or the other titles from Ellen Stoll Walsh.
