Luna Organics All Natural Girls’ Essential Makeup Kit Review and Giveaway

So your daughter wants to wear makeup but you’re not so sure about her putting chemicals and artificial colors all over her beautiful skin?  Luna Organics comes to the rescue with their All Natural Essential Makeup Kit for Tweens. Their make up is free of parabens, potential toxins, artificial colors, and nut products and their jars are BPA free.  
Luna Organics was founded by a mom who wanted natural choices in play makeup for her two girls.  When she couldn’t find any she decided to launch a product line herself.  All of Luna Organics items are assembled carefully by hand. They all contain the same quality ingredients as adult makeup but are priced for parents buying for children. 
My older girls and I had fun using the All Natural Essential Makeup Kit for Tweens.  It comes with a great variety of everything you need for makeup application.  The kit includes 5 colors of eyeshadow, foundation, blush, lotion, jojoba oil, perfume, multiple lip balms, a mirror and a bamboo applicator set (which uses only synthetic hair).  Even though the makeup is colored it goes on looking natural which is appealing in a makeup for tweens who are just starting to wear makeup or only wearing it for special occasions.  The lip balms come in a variety of colors but go on like a gloss that highlights the girl’s natural lip color.  The makeup comes off as easily as it goes on.  You can use a moist tissue or a natural oil such as the jojoba oil that is included in the kit. 
This kit will last you for a while and will be a great starter kit for your tween.  I think most girls would be thrilled to receive this kit as a birthday gift or stocking stuffer.  Luna Organics has several other items and kits that are fun for girls.  They have 4 different play makeup sets that are great for younger girls who want to wear makeup when they dress up.  You can also find all natural face paint and a party favor set that would be a big hit at a girls party!

Sparklehearts Bubbling Blooms Body Wash Review and Giveaway

After reading about Sparklehearts products on their website I was so excited to have my girls try them out.  Sparklehearts had me at their fun, girly packaging that promises natural and organic ingredients.  Let’s face it, most girls like pretty, flowery, girly embellishments and Sparklehearts does a great job of delivering just that.  Lots of natural and organic products are a bit boring for girls because they cannot compete with the eye candy that other companies use for their products that are loaded with stuff that is just not good for your skin. Sparklehearts however, is safe for your skin and very appealing to the eye. Sparklehearts products do not contain any artificial colors, parabens, phthalates, or sulfates and the sweet scents they use are natural.

We got to try the Bubbling Blooms Body Wash and I have to say it was a hit!  I heard repeatedly from my girls “It just smells so good!”  The smell is as sweet as the bottle promises. It lathers up nicely and goes on silky smooth. My girls loved that it was just for them and I noticed slightly more frequent showers once we received it.  I know my girls are now hooked and I am going to have to order this stuff in bulk.  Now we cannot wait to try some of the other products like the body lotion with mica sparkles. Sparklehearts also has shampoo, conditioner and hair detangler that I bet are just as lovely as the body wash.
