What Moms Love Weekly

It’s been a few weeks but the What Moms Love Weekly is back!  This week I am loving a long weekend, more hugs than normal from kids who don’t hug so much, short sleeve shirts, pastel colors and a risen Savior.  How about you? What are you loving this week? I’d love to hear about it! Here are some favorite finds this week:

1. Brinware– There are all kinds of concerns about BPA in plastics. You can look for BPA free plastics or you can just use glass. Brinware makes durable, strong tempered glass plates that come with a removable silicone sleeve for added protection and slip resistance.  They have adorable designs on them and are Microwavable and Dishwasher safe.

2. Friendly Rooster Kids Shoes Site– Friendly Rooster is a great online kids shoe store with some of the cutest styles around. I especially love the Morgan & Milo brand shoes shown above.  They hold up really well and are comfy and cute at the same time.  Check out Friendly Rooster’s other brands too! There is something for everyone.

3. BabyLit Board Books–  Here come the classics…for babies & toddlers.  You love Jane Austin, Shakespear and more but they are too much for little ones.  Until now.  These cute board books tell the classic stories like Pride & Prejudice and Romeo & Juliet in simplified little kids ways (with counting, colors, etc…).  Both mom and baby will get a kick out of these books!

4. Ubbi Diaper Pails– These cans of steel are sleek and modern and keep odors at bay.  You can customize your pail with peel and stick decals to match the decor of any nursery.  The Ubbi’s oval shape means you can tuck it into a tight space.  It seems to me like they thought of everything when designing this diaper pail.  It even has a child lock to prevent little ones from messing with it.

5. Spooner Boards– I want one of these! It’s like a skateboard without wheels.  There are so many ways you can use it and it looks like a ton of fun.  It’s on my list for my kids birthday’s this year! Check out the videos here of how they work and how much fun you can have with them. Little kids to adults will enjoy these Spooner boards!

Lego Cleanup Genius! Loving the Lay-N-Go!

Okay, so if you have kids I am guessing you have Legos (assuming your kids are old enough)?  Don’t we all have a love/hate relationship with Legos?  We love them because our kids build incredibly imaginative things with them.  We hate them because they never stay in one place and you can find a Lego just about anywhere (dryer anyone?!).  Enter the Lay-n-go.  This amazing bag lays flat as a play surface and then when you are done you just pull the zip cord to close up the bag with all of the Legos inside. There’s even a pocket to tuck away the string.

When I came across the Lay-n-Go online I could not believe how brilliant it is!  This is truly a mom and dad invention that parents with kids that play with toys needs (um, that’s pretty much all of us isn’t it?).  The Lay-n-Go doesn’t just work for Legos but just about any toy with multiple pieces that you can imagine.  Imagine cleaning up your toy room or living room in less than 20 seconds!

The Lay-n-Go comes in two sizes, a 5 foot size and the lite version which is 18″.  The larger size is perfect to use in rooms where you want easy cleanup.  We loved the smaller size for in the car travel and for bringing legos from the bedroom to the kitchen table for play time.

These would be fantastic for classrooms (in school or at home)!  Bring out the blocks and put them away in a snap.  Kids will love the quick clean up too!

Watch this video here of how easy it is to set up, close and take with you.

To Purchase either the Lay-n-Go or the Lay-n-Go Lite you can find them at the Lay-n-Go store.

You can stay up to date with Lay-n-Go by Liking them on Facebook or Following them on Twitter.

So what do you think?  Would the Lay-n-Go be a lifesaver for you and your kids?

Disclosure: I was sent a Lay-n-Go Lite to test out.  As always, my opinions are my own.
